T'was a wonderful holiday
Ahh, the year-end break. Christmas to New Years' - my favourite time of year, and this was no exception. I got to relax, immerse myself in the spirit of the Holidays, and do lots of things I'd always wanted to.
The highlight of my year this year was the Transformers Blokees Advent Calendar. It has been a Peinforte family tradition for many years to vicariously advent calendar via Ashens / Nerdcubed on Youtube, but this year we spent the quid and got our own, and I quite enjoyed the surprise and fun of building a small figure or vehicle every day.
I also finally got to marathon the entire extended Lord of the Rings trilogy, something I've wanted to do for years, finally finished the challenge I had set myself to finish the horrible Chargeman Ken anime, as well as the amazing Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger, and I got to see Transformers: Beast Wars II and its specials, as well as Record of Ragnarok Series 3.
And thanks to my lovely webmaster (cheers, mate!) I finally was able to upgrade and update my image gallery on this site to something a bit more flexible and manageable.
I'm sad to see the holidays end, but I'm very glad I got to make the best of them without burning myself out.
Thank you to everyone who helped make 2025 a wonderful year, and here's hoping we have an amazing 2026 that finally gets us out of hell.

I'm a snarky, semi-horrible human being given to penning intentionally bad epic slashfiction involving improbable objects and individuals, with the ultimate ambition of befouling Kindle with it one day,which is ostensibly what this blog is for.
In practice, however, it tends to mainly be a circular file for my various thoughts and ideas, some whimsical and others not, in addition to my various Photoshop experiments, mainly collections of what I originally generated for Twitter but now do for Mastodon Threads Bluesky thanks to Twitter becoming a fascist hellscape.
I also have a sideproject doing art for my addition to Doctor Who fanon, Karnian Script which is a more sigil-based, witchy take on Galifreyan variants.
